Touting ease for residents, the BVI Post has opened its new Road Town location in the Maduro Building, The new BVI Post Office in Road Town is located in the Maduro Building near the roundabout. It’s open six days a week. Photo: CHRYSTALL KANYUCK near the roundabout. The office, which has been operating for about two weeks, is open from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.

“We strive to keep on the competitive edge while keeping our customers happy, and we found that a more central location in Road Town would increase convenience, and, in fact, better facilitate our new online shopping service,” Pascha Stoutt, acting postmaster, said in a press release last week.

The post has operated eZone, an online shipping service, for some time, and more recently it added EZ Shopper, Debra James, the post’s retail manager, said in the release.

Ms. James explained that EZ Shopper allows residents to make purchases online using the post’s website even if they don’t have a credit card. After filling in a virtual shopping cart of the items they wish to purchase, residents can pay in person at an eZone office, according to the release.
