I left Road Town with a sense af pride and gratitude after attending the ceremony which renamed Palm Grove Park after my father, Noel Lloyd, and the Positive Action Movement. My family and I are particularly thankful to the present government that made it all possible. The ceremony was beautiful, touching and worthy of the Positive Action Movement heroes, many of whom are still alive today. To everyone who made our stay in Road Town so memorable, warm and comfortable, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The VI now has a monument that honours the heroes in their midst as well as those no longer here, and that’s something to feel proud about! God bless you all. Sarah Lloyd |
